Molecular Encapsulation Technology

FireOrganix uses a proprietary molecular encapsulation process when manufacturing our water soluble cannabinoid ingredients.  Our specialized process addresses the challenges that are often faced by the nutraceutical, nutricosmetic, and functional foods industries. The process we implement results in the long-term stability of functional ingredients, which ultimately means more effective nutrient delivery and improved shelf life

Fire Organix’s proprietary process reduces the CBD particle size and utilizes an advanced delivery technology to mimic the body’s natural system of absorbing fat-soluble ingredients. This technology is essential for the subsequent absorption of all cannabinoids. By way of our specialized multi-layer process, the ingredient functionality is drastically increased, and 100% solubility is achieved.

A multitude of studies have shown the bioavailability of conventional CBD oils to be low [1]. However, when CBD liquid is prepared using a nanoemulsion, bioavailability can be improved up to 900% [2]. Because Fire Organix’s water soluble cannabinoid ingredients offer increased absorption and bioavailability, less is needed to achieve the same results one might find with an exceptionally high dose of conventional oil.

Higher Absorption Rates: Our process encapsulates fat-based nutrients. This results in higher absorption rates through the walls of the enterocytes found in the small intestine.

Nanoemulsions are defined as oil-in-water emulsions with droplet sizes typically in the range of 100-500nm. FireOrganix nanoemulsions are in the range of 10-50nm. A properly nanoemulsified formula is transparent and has no odor. In recent years, academic institutions and for-profit businesses have been researching nanoemulsions due to their ability to improve the oral bioavailability of water-insoluble compounds, which in our case is CBD. Nanoemulsification technology shows promise to radically improve drug-delivery systems and increase efficacy in a wide range of pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and functional-food products.

Why Nanoemulsification Matters

Correctly prepared nanoemulsions provide highly effective nutrient delivery. The have also been shown to remain stable in the presence of gastric fluids and saliva [5].
